New Bosch Daredevil™ Framing Blades Bring Precision and Speed to Ripping and Cutting TasksLine that starts sharper, stays sharper incorporates circular saw blades in sizes from 6-½” to 8-¼”
On the jobsite time is money, so framers need circular saw blades that make fast, precise cuts over a long period of time. And that’s just what the new Bosch Daredevil™ framing blades bring to the table everyday: Thin-kerf, extra-hard steel plate blades with triple-sharp carbide teeth that power through wood to deliver a combination of speed and a smooth finish. A Speed Coat™ finish provides added speed and avoids binding in treated or wet lumber.
Bosch Daredevil framing blades provide significant performance and product-life improvements over other framing blades thanks to enhancements like Bosch C3 Micrograin Carbide, which stays sharper longer and resists impact damage, and triple-sharp teeth that are sharpened on the face, top and sides. The M12 line is turning into a huge payoff for Milwaukee Tools, it has expanded with over 35+ tools and proving to be the one to beat in the 12V lithium Ion arena. This saves you from having to plug the unit into the wall and wait 4 hours for it to charge. With the M12 you can just swap and go essentially having the unit work an entire day with no Read more
Important regulatory debate taking place in Washington, DC that could have a significant impact on the woodworking industry.
The Power Tool Institute (PTI) is working to promote safety through a voluntary standard process, while the government is considering a petition by patent attorney Stephen Gass. Gass’s petition could mandate a design standard that has the potential to eliminate portable benchtop saws from the market due to the cost of compliance.
PTI members are working to promote safety through the updated UL 987 safety standard, investing
hundreds of millions of dollars in an effort to make table saws and other power tools safe when used
properly. Since 2007, manufacturers have introduced over 800,000 saws with newly designed guards that meet the requirements of the UL 987 safety standard. To date, there has been only one reported blade contact injury on a table saw with the new guard. Read more

We love getting our hands on power tools and playing with them, but of course there are some we like a lot better such as nailers. Operating a nailer is always fun, but operating a Paslode, well that just takes it to a whole another level. Not too long ago we did a review on the Paslode roofing nailer which rocked, so we were excited to give the CF-325 a test run.
The Cf325 is a framing nailer, so it is designed for serious shooting. The overall fell of the tool, while a little top heavy, does have a nice feel to it. Paslode has a nice grip built into this tool so even with gloves on you still have control over the tool. On the side is a built in belt clip and can be easily adjusted to work on either side of the nailer, while left handers might have a little harder time. Read more
